Wellness
The Road to wellness has many paths. Some paths may be a straight line to Source, while others may zig and zag, others may back track, while yet others may simply continue around in a circle. All roads, regardless of which one you are on now, will lead to the same place in the end. The path always leads to Source, to Creator, God/Goddess, to whatever you choose to call it. What does your path to wellness look like?
Our paths we currently walk are a mere reflection of our inner path. What does this mean exactly? Our outer worlds are first expressed from within our inner worlds. The thoughts, which we create and give energy too then becomes our reality! Did you get that? “Give energy too” doesn’t refer to the “wanting” something, it refers to “giving energy too.” When you consistently think of something with passion, both positive or negative, you give energy to it!
When you can understand the concept of “Thoughts Create Realities”, it then becomes easier to choose How you live your life! Learning to Empower yourself with the power of choice, will begin to open doors for you, your path then will become less bumpy, less turns & twists.
To live your life “in wellness” it requires your body, mind, and spirit to be in synch with one another. There are several methods, lots of teachers and guides to assist you along this process. Learning to bring balance to this triad connection, will bring a sense of inner harmony, this is the place where true healing occurs. We will be taking a look at each avenue more in an in-depth manner each week.
First and foremost is the condition of your physical body. If you are currently experiencing illness, pain, or dis-ease, first seek the attention of your primary care giver. Next, note that these symptoms are natures way of trying to get your attention, Nature’s Reset Button, so to speak. When we cut ourselves off from our creator, when we disconnect ourselves from our spiritual side (one does not have to be religious in order to reach a stature of spirituality) our spirit self tries to get our attention. As we continue to not listen, our promptings become louder and louder until we break down and say “I can’t take it anymore, I need help”! So, if you are currently experiencing pain or illness, ask yourself what is out of balance within your spiritual growth process. There are many available options to you, if you are currently ill that we will be discussing through this weekly newsletter.
Next, we need to look at our minds, our thoughts. What do you focus on the most? Do you focus on lack or despair? Or do you focus of gratitude? What you focus on is what appears in your life. We have briefly discussed this in the beginning on this newsletter, but we will be going into more detail in further newsletters.
Lastly, there is our spiritual connection. Now, I know everyone has their own beliefs system and we are not here to discuss religion. Healing is Not a religion, it is a way of life. When we experience traumatic events, extreme pain, or loss at an early age, coupled with abandonment a part of our Soul splinters off. Have you ever heard or experienced the saying. “When he/she left, they took a part of me with them”? in a sense, this is what happens when a part of your Soul leaves. There is a feeling of being alone, despair, not being able to go on in life. Without your Soul, there is no you!
Think about this for a minute. Without Your Soul, there is NO You! It is our Soul that inhabits our physical bodies, when your Soul leaves, you will perish. Now, don’t’ get me wrong, I am not trying to scare you or use the whole “doom & gloom” approach, I do not like that. What I am trying to help you see, is how important to our existence it is to have a good, healthy relationship with yourself! This is where healing begins.
When I was asked to write this newsletter, I was very excited to share with all of you alternative methods of healing. I was excited and my mind raced, what Will I say first? How will I begin? What would you all be interested in knowing and learning. By showing you that you have options, choices, and alternative means by which to heal yourself, it opens doorways to empowerment, and with these open doorways comes healing. All healing begins from within. It starts with you, with a desire to heal, to be Whole.
In further newsletters we will be discussing how the body is designed to heal itself given the right environment, how to communicate with your Higher-Self, Guides, and Angels, easy movement exercises to free blocked and stagnate energy, What energy is & how it affects you everyday of your lives, Reiki, How to achieve abundance, Light, sound and color healings, Where disease & illness come from, How Love creates miracles, The Power of Forgiveness, Empower Yourself Empower Others, Change your thoughts Change your World, and much, much more.
I welcome any comments, suggestions, topics, etc, which you might be more interested in learning and discussing. My name is Tami and I am a Holistic Health & Energy Balancing Practitioner, a Life Coach and Ordained Minister. I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Science and working on my Doctorate Degree.

Swimming with Dolphins
by Sheoli Makara
The following is a true story that serves as a reminder of one of the most important ingredients in our healing process-faith. Whether the we are healing our bodies, mind, emotions; our relationships, or our immediate to expanded community, with faith ever present in our lives we are able to manifest our intended goals. My heart felt heavy this day as if it were carrying the weight of the world’s sorrows within it. So many displays of human cruelty had been displayed lately around the world as well as right here in my otherwise tranquil community.
Another Mid-East war involving the NATO armies had broken out, and there's the sensational news stories about how cruel humans can be to one another, plus I had recently experienced an enormous betrayal that had me down.It was about 7:15am when I arrived at a coral-rich bay were I love to swim. Standing at the shoreline overlooking the bay, I witnessed a a pod of around 100 dolphins rise up for air. I took a deep breath, whispered a prayer of gratitude and proceeded to join my beloved dolphin friends. I was the only person there. The dolphins' pod was made up of a sweet family of adults, adolescents and babies on this very quite morning.I slowly glided out to deeper water using what we call a “dolphin kick” (legs together, arms by the sides and making undulating movements using the abdominals and back).
Soon I was surrounded by a pod of about 20 dolphins, mostly adults with two newly born babies and one baby about three months old. When the dolphins greeted me I began to cry. They slowed down and moved even closer to me placing me in the middle of their formation. At that moment I asked them, “What do we do about how harsh a large population of humanity has become? What do we do? What do we do?” Immediately I heard an answer in a very strong, staccato rhythm, “You - Must - Strengthen - Your - Faith.” The dolphins' telepathic message was so clear, simple and yet tremendously powerful. I felt waves of strength moving through me from this loving pod. They were encouraging me to snap out of my sadness and feelings of despair and return to a place of empowerment through faith.
I realized in that moment that I had allowed myself to get caught up in the dramas being acted out on the world stage. I began to cry very hard at that point. My tears were not of sorrow this time but rather tears of release from the illusions of separation that I had temporarily bought into.My mask had fogged up from crying. I took if off and rinsed and cleared it. Before replacing my mask back over my eyes, I allowed myself to lie back in the water and simply float, breathe and relax, recalling the potent words of wisdom that had just permeated my body, mind and emotions.I could feel the dolphins all around and underneath me beaming me love and reassurance that all is well, no matter what appears.
After repositioning my mask, I dove down under the waves to immerse myself fully into the water. Floating and spinning and diving even further into this clear, turquoise silken liquid I felt free of care in a new and stronger way. As I began my ascent for a breath of air, a mother dolphin joined me with her baby. Blowing bubbles from her blow hole, the baby repeated the word with great confidence. “Faith - Faith - Faith”, she said. The mother and her baby stayed with me for I'd guess about an hour. From time to time we were joined by the rest of the pod. (Dolphins' common behavior while in a bay is to circle within it. Quite often they will move out into deeper water then circle back into the shallows. So there is never need to swim after them because they almost always come back in.)I felt such comfort from the mother as if she were energetically nurturing my wounded heart. The baby continued looking at me with such sweetness I could feel my heart melting, returning only to feelings of love.
After a while, other swimmers joined us, many were close friends and community members. The dolphin pod appeared happy to see their human friends and they began jumping in the air spinning and flipping to everyone's delight and cheers. I had such an emotional cleansing that I swam with my friends a little longer before heading back to shore. On my way in, I spotted a large octopus resting within the bumpy recesses of a huge mushroom shaped coral. He took on the same appearance as the coral in color and texture. I was surprised I was able to spot him in his disguise. I observed him from the surface of the water choosing to leave him to his peace. Then I continued on my way to lie down upon the warm, smooth lava-lined shoreline and reflect on my experience this morning.
While in my reflective state, I thought about these wondrous dolphins and the descriptive name of "Earth Angels" came to mind. They come to us and give their love, acceptance and assistance so purely. Dolphins have been known to protect humans, save lives and even guide ships through stormy seas. Their connection to humans is legendary and to understand them best is to see them through our hearts and remember to see every man, woman and child in the same light. When we do this, we can more easily look at others with compassion rather than project an unkind reaction to them. From a place of compassion, understanding and resolving an issue or situation can be brought about in peace, for the highest good for all.

Depression - It is NOT all in your Head!
Depression today is usually treated with drugs. However, the SSRI anti-depressants such as Prozac and Zoloft have potentially serious side effects and do not address causes. Dr. Julian Whitaker and Dr. Peter Breggin found that almost all so-called rampage murders were committed by people on SSRI anti-depressants. In one study of women who murdered their own children, 24 out of the 31 were taking anti-depressants.
Depression is often related to nutritional imbalances. Hair mineral testing is an excellent way to identify many factors that contribute to depression and guide their correction.
Depression and Energy
A major cause of depression is fatigue. Mineral analysis can often detect causes of fatigue and exhaustion. These include an imbalanced oxidation rate, vital mineral deficiencies, toxic metal excess, sugar and carbohydrate intolerance, excessive catabolism or tissue breakdown and poor protein synthesis. Before discussing these, let us examine the idea that depression can be a positive adaptation to fatigue and exhaustion.
Depression as a Corrective Measure
Dr. Paul Eck advanced the idea that depression may be a defensive or corrective symptom to prevent further damage in the face of exhaustion. When one's body is exhausted, depression may set in as a way to slow one down, to spare the body further damage.
The truth of this idea has been demonstrated a number of times in my practice. Patients who begin a scientific nutrition program sometimes report their depression is gone, but now they are exhausted. A few months later, they report their exhaustion is better as well.
This is a retracing process. Fatigue and exhaustion preceded the development of depression. That is, depression is actually a later stage after exhaustion. Recovery reverses this process. For this reason, when the depression lifts, one is left with the exhaustion that was underneath it. Then as healing progresses, the fatigue also lifts.
Depression and the Oxidation Rate
Depression is common in very slow oxidizers and also very fast oxidizers because they do not produce energy efficiently. These imbalances are similar to running a car engine at the wrong speed or RPM. The energy efficiency goes down and the car has less power. This leads to fatigue and often to depression.
Depression is more common in slow oxidizers. These people are characterized by underactive adrenal and often underactive thyroid activity. The adrenal hormone cortisol induces a state of well-being or natural "high". When cortisol secretion is diminished, one may often feel low or depressed. Also, hypothyroidism and hypoglycemia in slow oxidizers can contribute to depression feelings.
In slow oxidizers, excess tissue calcium has a depressing effect on the central nervous system. It can also decrease cell permeability, blocking the flow of vital nutrients into the cells. Elevated tissue magnesium is often biounavailable. Magnesium is essential for energy production. Slow oxidizers are also prone to candida albicans overgrowth. Candida produces alcohol and other toxins that can contribute to feelings of depression.
Slow oxidizers are also commonly copper toxic. As discussed below, copper excess is associated with feelings of depression. Slow oxidizers often don't feel like exercising. Yet exercise is known to help alleviate feelings of depression. Slow oxidizers may not feel like eating protein, yet eating more protein and less sugars and starches helps prevent feelings of depression. Protein foods supply tyrosine, phenylalanine and other nutrients needed for neurotransmitter production.
Fast Oxidation Fast oxidizers may also report depression. Fast oxidizers may seem to have plenty of energy, but this can be deceptive. Often they run themselves hard and become exhausted if they relax. Very fast oxidizers are not producing energy efficiently and can even become paranoid. Many fast oxidizers are on an energy roller coaster, because of a diet high in sugar and starches. When blood sugar drops, depression feelings can become severe. Depression is more common in fast oxidizers when the sodium/potassium ratio is low. These people are called burned-out fast oxidizers, or at times called slow oxidizers under stress. With correction, they often convert to slow oxidizers. Correcting the oxidation rate through proper diet and supplementation often improves slow and fast oxidizer-related depression.
Copper, Candida and Depression
Copper is sometimes called the emotional mineral because it enhances emotions. One of these emotions is depression. Copper has diverse effects. It oxidizes and destroys vitamin C which is needed for adrenal activity. It stimulates the biogenic amines, epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. It can interfere with thyroid activity, affect energy levels, cause insomnia that results in fatigue and it tends to raise tissue calcium levels which may contribute to feelings of fatigue and depression.
Copper imbalance is a potent cause of depression associated with premenstrual tension. Copper is also often a factor in vegetarians who are depressed. Vegetarian proteins are high in copper and low in zinc. Also, vegetarian proteins are low in sulfur-containing amino acids needed to help detoxify copper. Copper toxicity is also associated with food allergies, which can induce feelings of depression in some people.
A Low Sodium/Potassium Ratio
An empirical finding by Dr. Paul Eck is that a tissue sodium/potassium ratio less than 2.5:1 is strongly associated with fatigue and hidden copper toxicity. He found this pattern associated with chronic emotions including frustration, resentment and hostility - all emotions of turning in upon oneself. Depression is also a form of turning one's attention in on oneself and common when the tissue sodium/potassium ratio is low.
Toxic Metals
All the toxic metals are directly neurotoxic. This includes cadmium, mercury, lead and arsenic. These may cause depression by directly blocking certain enzymes related to depression. They can also impair cellular energy production and induce fatigue that contributes to depression.
Hypoglycemia and Depression
Hypoglycemia causes the brain to temporarily starve for fuel. Depression is one of the main symptoms associated with hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemic tendencies are identified on hair mineral analyses by an imbalanced calcium/magnesium ratio, a low sodium/potassium ratio, an imbalanced oxidation rate or deficiencies of zinc, manganese or chromium.
Diet and lifestyle play important roles in hypoglycemia, although weak adrenals, nutrient deficiencies, toxic metals, stress and other factors may all be important causes.
Slow oxidizers tend to have chronic low blood sugar due to weak adrenals. Fast oxidizers are more prone to acute hypoglycemic episodes due to low glycogen reserves, diets low in fats and oils and an excessive adrenal and thyroid activity.
Other Factors
Food allergies, chronic infections, a deficiency of natural light, lack of exercise and other factors can also contribute to depression. Dr. Daniel Amen, author of "Healing ADD", found that often depression is misdiagnosed as ADD.
In addition to a complete nutrition program, symptomatic remedies may help acute symptoms. These include SAMe (s-adenosyl-methionine), which should be given with extra folic acid, extra B-complex, especially vitamin B6, adrenal and thyroid support, St. John's Wort, dl-phenylalanine, l-tyrosine and others. Prescription medication may also be used with the supplement program if needed

Find Your Passion
Planting Seeds
A successful business man was growing old and knew it was time to chose a successor to take over the business. Instead of choosing one of his directors or his children, he decided to do something different.
Holism
1. No matter what one may study in the S.D. let the mind hold fast, as the basis of its ideation to the following ideas [8]
(a) The FUNDAMENTAL UNITY OF ALL EXISTENCE. This unity is a thing altogether different from the common notion of unity -- as when we say that a nation or an army is united; or that this planet is united to that by lines of magnetic force or the like. The teaching is not that. It is that existence is ONE THING, not any collection of things linked together. Fundamentally there is ONE BEING. This Being has two aspects, positive and negative. The positive is Spirit, or CONSCIOUSNESS. The negative is SUBSTANCE, the subject of consciousness. This Being is the Absolute in its primary manifestation. Being absolute there is nothing outside it. It is All-Being. It is indivisible, else it would not be absolute. If a portion could be separated, that remaining could not be absolute, because there would at once arise the question of COMPARISON between it and the separated part. Comparison is incompatible with any idea of absoluteness. Therefore it is clear that this fundamental One Existence, or Absolute Being must be the Reality in every form there is.I said that though this was clear to me I did not think that many in the Lodges would grasp it. "Theosophy," she said, "is for those who can think, or for those who can drive themselves to think, not mental sluggards." H.P. Blavatsky. has grown very mild of late. "Dumskulls!" used to be her name for the average student. The Atom, the Man, the God (she says) are each separately, as well as all collectively, Absolute Being in their last analysis, that is their REAL INDIVIDUALITY. It is this idea which must be held always in the background of the mind to form the basis for every conception that arises from study of the S.D. The moment one lets it go (and it is most easy to do so when engaged in any of the many intricate aspects of the Esoteric Philosophy) the idea of SEPARATION supervenes, and the study loses its value.
(b) The second idea to hold fast to is that THERE IS NO DEAD MATTER. Every last atom is alive. It cannot be otherwise since every atom is itself fundamentally Absolute Being. Therefore there is no such thing as "spaces" of Ether, or Akasha, or call it what you like, in which angels and elementals disport themselves like trout in water. That's the common idea. The true idea shows every atom of substance no matter of what plane to be in itself a LIFE.
(c) The third basic idea to be held is that Man is the MICROCOSM. As he is so, then all the Hierarchies of the Heavens exist within him. But in truth there is neither Macrocosm nor Microcosm but ONE EXISTENCE. Great and small are such only as viewed by a limited consciousness.
No matter what one takes as study in the S.D. one must correlate it with those basic ideas. From: The Secret Doctrine and its study

Don't Let Life's Challenges Defeat You, Learn From Them
Everything happens for a reason. I know we’ve all heard that before, but it’s true. There is nothing random in the Universe. Nothing. So, when difficult, almost impossible situations arise, we need to look around and examine what we are doing in our lives.
Infinite Intelligence communicates with us in different ways. Each person is unique in the way they receive information from the Universe. Your lessons may show up in the form of plunging finances or failing health. I know of a marvelous spiritual teacher who knows she needs to re-evaluate her life by the condition of her car. When she loses her spiritual way or stops concentrating on her goals her car breaks down. Strange, yes.
The Universe is a strange and perfect place. No matter what forms your teachers take, recognize them as wake-up calls. Start paying attention, because the Universe is trying to tell you something. You don’t become enormously successful without encountering and overcoming a number of extremely challenging problems.

Healing Comes From the Heart
You Are A Healer A healer does not heal with their hands, their mind nor with a specific technique. A healer heals with their heart. There are many healing modalities that a person can use to improve their lives and their health. None is more powerful than love.
If you were to learn many of these techniques you would find that love is a pattern that weaves itself through all healing. It is a constant. This is because healing comes from understanding and living all that you are. And at your core, you are made of love. There is a difference between understanding that you are love and living it. This is known as the 13 inch journey, the journey for the realization to travel from you mind, where you understand it intellectually, to your heart where you feel and live it. When this happens you will know. There is no mistaking the experience.
Many people find that they experience this feeling (actually a way of being) for a while and then it disappears, leaving them feeling sad or disappointed. Indeed, there is a big difference in how a person experiences life from the love awareness as opposed to when the feeling subsides. This subsiding is a gift. It teaches that you have a choice between living in love and living in fear.
Living in love is where healing takes place. The key is not how long you can stay in love but that you realize when you have fallen out of it. Then the decision to go back to love or not is yours. And here is where the personal issues start coming up. Sometimes it seems easier or more justified to be angry, hurt, depressed or whatever. Some people will bury this realization in food, compulsive spending, over working, alcohol, unhealthy relationships or in some other way. I believe that denying who you are, denying what many people call the “I Am” is at the root of all illness be it physical, mental or spiritual. And love is the healer.
You already possess within you all that is needed for perfect health. It is simply a matter of peeling back the layers and having the courage to look inside. You will find inside a light so bright and beautiful that you may be frightened at first by its power and love. You may feel undeserving or uncertain about the responsibility of being this light. It may help you to realize that this is who you already are. Inside, every person has the same light and uncovering it is what healing is all about. All is love. Linda White Dove

Fire the Grid
A Reiki Treatment for Gaia on July 17th!
By Lloyd Kremer:
For thousands of years, seers, prophets, and indigenous peoples throughout the world have foretold of a New Age: a time of planetary awakening and the raising of global consciousness. The hippies called it the Age of Aquarius. Edgar Cayce called it the Christ Consciousness. The Mayans called it the Age of the Sixth Sun. It has been called the Omega Point and Timewave Zero, and it's described in the Book of Daniel and the Gospel of Matthew. That time is now.
Shelley Yates was unaware of this cosmic plan until she and her young son Evan drowned in a flooded marsh in November of 2002. As this self-described angry atheist was trapped in a submerged car and inhaling frigid water, a voice spoke to her: "Relax. Stop fighting the water or we won't be able to get you back." As she gave herself over to the water and left her body, she found herself in a crystalline room high in the clouds. Three beings explained that they had arranged that both she and her four-year-old son could survive, but that she must follow their instructions exactly.
By a series of remarkable coincidences, she was retrieved from the car fifteen minutes later. After several minutes of resuscitation, she awakened fully alert and said, "Get my baby out of the lake!" By the time the child was recovered, he had been under water for almost thirty minutes. They were taken to separate hospitals. Remarkably, her vital signs stabilized within half an hour, at which point she stood up and declared, "I'm going to see my son now. You better find me some clothes or I'm going naked."
Upon arrival at Children's Hospital, she found her son on complete life support. The doctors advised her to say her goodbyes and let him pass, since he was brain dead and there was no hope of survival. At this darkest hour, as soon as she had a moment to herself, the voice from the lake spoke to her again. "Fill it up!". Fill what up?" she thought. She then had a clear vision of an old oaken bucket with a silvery blob of fluid in the bottom. As she looked around at other people, each was surrounded by a field of light. She thought, "Are those... auras?" She then heard the sound of a bell: "Ding ding ding!" She was communicating with the Beings of Light. It was Bob Barker style, but it was communication.
She understood that she was to arrange for hundreds of people to go through Evan's hospital room and lay their hands on his body to donate some of their life force, for exactly three days. But only twenty minutes each, or the donors would deplete themselves. Each person must then share a gift of their greatest joy: tell a story, sing a song, read a children's book, or whatever they chose. And there must be no negativity of any kind. She called everyone she knew. People came from hundreds of miles away. Shelley was told that music would facilitate this process. Although Evan was comatose, his time was divided into waking and sleeping. During his "awake" time, they played his favorite music, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. During his "sleep" time, they played Mozart. There was a horrid stench in the room from the putrefying flesh, but not one person mentioned it.
Seventy-two hours later, Evan awoke and recognized his mother. Today he is an active, healthy, normal child, the biggest in his class.
But the Beings of Light were not through with Shelley. Several months later she heard the voice again: "What you did for a dying boy with a small group of people, you can do for a dying planet with a much larger group." The miracle had apparently been a demonstration.
Shelley understood that she was to recruit as many people as possible—millions, hopefully—to join in Love and Gratitude at a specific time, and channel the Life Force back into our planet. The Earth needs a gigantic Reiki treatment!
In this remarkable way was the Fire the Grid project born. Please join us on July 17, 2007 at 11:11 Greenwich Mean time document.write(localTime);— 04:11 (4:11 AM) in your time zone — On that day, the Earth will pass through an energetic burst from the Galactic Center. The numerology of that date is certainly powerful: 11:11 07/17/07. In choosing to participate you will be defining your intentions to the universe and you will also be defined as a human who desires positive change for this planet.
There are several ways to participate on that date.
One is prayer and meditation. But if traditional prayers are not your thing, use what brings you your highest joy and deepest gratitude. If a full moon rising over a lake evokes those feelings, then imagine such a scene. If a tiny kitten asleep on a pillow does it, then use that. The key is to elicit your purest joy, and then to have gratitude for being alive in the Earth at this time. Finally, if your schedule or your time zone won't permit you to participate at 11:11 Greenwich Time, you can write a letter to yourself beforehand, giving your soul permission to connect at that time. And be sure to sign it and place it by your bed; your intention will go into the paper.
Participants will get a permanent energy boost equivalent to ten years of meditation. The body's vibration will be raised in accordance with the intention of the participant, and it will be tied off at that point.
The website for the project is www.firethegrid.org. The symbol for the project is three vertical stones with a horizontal capstone. This carries an encoded message for the soul. Those of us who feel guided to participate in the project made that decision before entering this incarnation. The symbol is a programmed wake‑up call for our soul: "The time is now."
As millions of people around the globe participate simultaneously, the grid will fire up in sections. First it will fire at one location, then another, and another, until all the independent firing points connect, and the grid reactivates planet-wide.
